GREEN BAY − After logging one of the more challenging travel schedules in the NFL in 2024, the Green Bay Packers had a much more favorable road slate in 2025, traveling roughly half the distance. This season, they’re scheduled to fly 11% more than last season despite playing one fewer road game.
The Packers had an international trip to open the 2024 season against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil, as well as road games in Los Angeles, Jacksonville and Seattle. In total, they traveled more than 22,000 miles over eight road games.
In 2025, the Packers didn’t play an international game or take a West Coast trip, but they did play one more road game. In total, they traveled 11,362 miles.
This season, the Packers are scheduled to travel 12,628 miles over eight regular-season road games, measuring from airport to airport.
The Packers will play just three 2026 road games that are more than 1,000 miles roundtrip: at Los Angeles (1,764), at Tampa Bay (1,182) and at New Orleans (1,008). In 2025, they had only one trip of more than 1,000 miles: at Arizona (1,485).
Bill Speros of Bookies.com calculated all of the miles each NFL team will travel in 2026 − he measured from stadium to stadium. Per his numbers, the Packers (12,673 miles) are among the teams that will travel the fewest miles in the NFL in 2026, sitting at No. 28 out of the 32 teams.
Of the NFC North teams, according to Speros, the Packers rank third of the four teams for most travel miles this year. The Detroit Lions will log the most of any divisional team – 15th most in the NFL − with 19,200 miles thanks to an international game in Munich, Germany. The Minnesota Vikings are second – 25th in the NFL − with 16,500 miles, and will also have an international game in Mexico City. The Chicago Bears sit right below the Packers at No. 30 in the league with 10,767 miles, with only one West Coast trip to Seattle.
