Wayne State University in Detroit has issued an alert after officials said they received online threats to the campus “and several other entities.”
The alert to the campus commnity said the reported threats were by a ‘known individual.”
Wayne State’s Police Department was investigating and searching for a person they identified as Kyle W. Brown.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are implementing increased security,” said the alert on the unversity’s website. “Be aware of your surroundings and notify police if you see the individual. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.”
