Post Malone made his way around Milwaukee during Summerfest stop

Post Malone made his way around Milwaukee, by the looks of several local business’ social media posts.

He was in town to headline Summerfest, playing the Big Gig’s biggest stage, the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, on June 27.

We came across these posts of Posty – at Calderone Club, Top Tier Hair Studio and Old Guard Games:

Post Malone at Calderone Club downtown

“Post Malone, you’re one of the best!” Calderone Club wrote in a June 27 Facebook post, featuring two pics with the superstar, including one with the restaurant’s longtime chef-owner, Gino Fazzari.

According to the post, the restaurant – at 842 N. Old World 3rd St. – made chicken parmesan for Malone the night before his show.

“We truly appreciate not only your visit, but the genuine kindness you showed our staff and guests,” the post said. “Taking the time to sign autographs, pose for photos, and make people smile, doesn’t go unnoticed, speaks volumes about your character, and says a lot about the person behind the music,” the post said.

In the post, the restaurant thanked Malone for spending a part of his evening with them, hoped he enjoyed his visit and said they forward to welcoming him back whenever he returns.

Post Malone at Top-Tier Hair Studio

Apparently, Malone was looking for a place to get beer – and ended up at Top-Tier Hair Studio for a quick clean-up. That’s what the shop’s barber-owner Austen Kallas told WISN.

Top-Tier, 3122 N. Downer Ave., and Kallas posted a photo on June 26 with Malone in front of the shop with the caption:

“Thanks For Stopping At Top Tier Hair StudioARTIST: @postmalone”.

Post Malone at Old Guard Games

Malone – who’s well-known in the Magic: The Gathering community – shopped Old Guard Games, 3132 N. Downer Ave.

“You never know who you’ll see hanging out at Old Guard Games. Thanks to Post Malone for stopping by!” the store – which specializes in miniatures, hobby supplies and tabletop gaming – posted on Facebook June 26, along with a pic of Malone with the store’s general manager, Josh Lowerre.

Lowerre told the Journal Sentinel that Malone called the store and one of his employees answered and didn’t recognize his voice. He said Malone asked whether the store had a Magic card product in stock and said he’d be at the store “in a minute.”

“Next thing I know, he came to my side to say hi, and I looked up and then was just like, ‘Hi.’ It took a second, but, yeah, I knew it was him right away,” Lowerre said.

Lowerre said Malone spent between 20 and 40 minutes in the store and bought some accessories like deck boxes to store his cards in, specifically new collector boxes from the Marvel Super Heroes Magic: The Gathering set. While there, Malone also signed a couple of Magic cards for employees.

“He’s a really, really cool guy, though, like one of the nicest guys,” Lowerre said. “It’s refreshing to see somebody get that popular, that has that much money and still be that down to earth.”
