Taurean Prince has opted in to his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks for next season, The Athletic reported on June 29.
The deadline to make a decision on the $3.81 million option was also June 29.
The 32-year-old Prince is coming off a season in which he only played 26 games after suffering a herniated disc in his neck that required surgery. He missed over four months but returned to finish the season strong.
Prince averaged 9.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game last season.
Over his two seasons with the Bucks, Prince has shot 43.8% on 3-pointers. He could serve as a veteran influence on a young Bucks backcourt that includes Ryan Rollins and first-round pick Brayden Burries.
