Former Indiana men’s basketball star, Trayce Jackson-Davis, has had his team-option exercised by the Toronto Raptors for next season, NBA insider Michael Scotto announced.
Jackson-Davis now prepares for his fourth NBA season, and his first full season in in Toronto after being traded to the organization back in February.
After four years in Bloomington, the Greenwood native was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 57th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Jackson-Davis spent the first two full seasons of his professional career with the Warriors, where he averaged more than 16 minutes a game; starting 53 total across two seasons in the Bay.
This past season, Jackson-Davis found himself fighting for rotational minutes with Golden State before he was traded to Toronto in the second half of the season. In 17 games with the Raptors, he averaged just five minutes a game over the final stretch of the season.
Through three full seasons, here’s what his career averages look like:
Nonetheless, picking up Jackson-Davis’ team option shows the organization’s commitment to him for the upcoming season.
