The internship program gives students hands-on experience in preservation work while supporting efforts to document and maintain Palm Beach’s architectural and cultural heritage, the foundation said in in its announcement about the program.

“Our internship program is an investment in the future of preservation,” Danielle Del Sol, president and CEO of the Preservation Foundation, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to welcome these talented students, whose enthusiasm and diverse perspectives will enrich our work while giving them invaluable opportunities to explore careers in preservation, archives, and community engagement.”

The summer interns include:

∎ Town of Palm Beach intern Quinlyn Janson, of Palm Beach, is a Georgetown University student majoring in English and art history. She is helping update documentation of the town’s landmarks and architecturally significant buildings by photographing historic properties for preservation records.

∎ Collections intern Kaia Clemente, of West Palm Beach, is a Florida State University student majoring in international affairs with a minor in museum studies. She is assisting with collections and archives work.

∎ Anthony K. Baker intern Eileen Feliciano, who was raised in Palm Beach County, is pursuing a second master’s degree in cultural heritage management at Johns Hopkins University. She is working to catalog the foundation’s educational archives and update its Heritage Education workbook.

∎ Archival intern Anna Miller, of Jupiter, is a student at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in art history. She also is assisting with cataloging educational archives and updating the Heritage Education workbook.

∎ Community Business Preservation Program intern Nicolette Renbarger is a University of Florida doctoral student in historic preservation. She is working with the foundation’s community business preservation program.

The interns will share updates on their work through the foundation’s website and social media channels.

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach works to preserve the island’s architectural, botanical and cultural heritage.
