El Paso is enjoying an uptick in the number of brunch places around the city.
And since it’s summer, it seems like a great time to try out a new place, as brunch is all about being relaxed, unrushed, and enjoying a good meal with family or friends in the late morning. There’s plenty to choose from, whether it’s breakfast or lunch.
And you’ll be able to count on comfort food favorites like French toast, eggs Benedict or biscuits and gravy.
Here are three of the latest brunch places to try if you haven’t already.
Another Broken Egg opens second location in El Paso
Another Broken Egg just opened its second location in El Paso, this time on the Eastside at 1345 N. Zaragoza Road. The first brunch franchise in El Paso opened in November of 2023 on the Westside, at 5863 N. Mesa St. near Sunland Park Mall.
There are 17 locations in Texas as of 2026.
The franchise focuses on a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu specializing in Southern-inspired cuisine and signature cocktails. The menu is impressive and appealing to foodies with its scrumptious descriptions and plating and will add new dishes depending on the season.
The diverse menu includes gluten-friendly and vegetarian options. Summer dishes may include champagne lobster benedict and peach cobbler French toast.
Doka Brunch impresses with inhouse bakery
Doka Brunch has been open for several months at Coronado Tower, a multi-tenant building at 6006 N. Mesa St. It is on the lower floor where Basico Bistro used to be.
Doka Brunch is gaining a following, as we recently noticed and had to visit, as it has an in-house bakery, which sounded fabulous. And it was.
Menu-wise, the restaurant offers a variety of American and Mexican brunch staples, including El Benedicto, a butter scone with chorizo, carnitas and an egg, chilaquiles with eggs and queso fresco and an American breakfast of eggs with bacon and potatoes.
We tried the chilaquiles ($16) in a creamy green salsa, with two fried eggs and topped with queso fresco, red onions and microgreens, and they were delicious. We loved that the tostadas stayed crunchy throughout the meal.
The cute restaurant also offers a variety of mimosas, including orange-cherry, piña colada, and raspberry-peach.
We ordered a basket of pan dulce, which meant we got to try four creative and interesting conchas with different flavors – one had a filling of raspberry, another had a churro flavor, another had a peanut topping, and the last one had a coffee-flavored dough as well as coffee sugar topping.
All were delicious, so don’t hesitate to leave room for dessert.
Doka Brunch will definitely become a repeat spot on my go-to list.
Toasted Yolk Cafe among newest brunch spots
Toasted Yolk opened this month on the Westside, at Shops on Mesa retail center, 5860 N. Mesa, near Coronado High School.
And it’s opened with some appetizing summer menu including French Toast sticks, a BBQ brisket bowl and berry waffles with house-made caramel, fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
These are limited and will go away, so don’t delay.
