After Indiana’s feisty 86-77 win over Phoenix on Monday night, which included several technical fouls assessed, Caitlin Clark and the Fever (10-7) host a rematch against the Mercury (5-13) tonight inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clark’s dazzling performance on Monday came up one assist shy of her fifth double-double on the season, but the former Hawkeye totaled 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the floor and 3-of-10 from 3-point land.

At halftime, Indiana leads Phoenix by two points after a tightly contested opening two quarters of action from Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The former Hawkeye is followed on the halftime stat sheet by Kelsey Mitchell’s 13 points and Aliyah Boston’s 10 points as the only other Fever players in the double-digits.

Conversely, Kahleah Copper’s 15 points, Alyssa Thomas’ 12 points, and former Fever teammate DeWanna Bonner’s 11 points are carrying the offensive firepower for the Mercury.

Unlike Monday, both teams enter the halftime break nearly even across the total stat sheet, with Indiana and Phoenix each committing eight turnovers. However, the Mercury have generated three more points off turnovers than the Fever, resulting in an 11-8 advantage in that category.

White does not want the momentum of the Mercury to balloon any further, especially with the game close in score right now.
