Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash June 21 on I-480 in Twinsburg Township involving 10 passengers with a 5-year-old male being life flighted, according to a release.
Around 10:50 p.m. Sunday, a van pulling a trailer left the roadway, spun and rolled over multiple times, the release said.
It was reported that there were 10 passengers inside of the van at the time of the incident and four of them had to be transported to University Hospital in Portage County. A 5-year-old boy was life-flighted to Rainbow Babies Hospital in Cleveland with serious injuries.
Eastbound and Westbound lanes of I-480 were closed during the investigation.
The crash remains under investigation by the Summit Metro Crash Response Team.
