Police are investigating a shooting that injured four people at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 19 on the 400 block of East Capitol Drive, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.
The four shooting victims were a 16-year-old, a 20-year old, a 24 year-old and a 29 year-old. The 24-year-old was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The others had non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical treatment, police said.
The morning after the shooting, the McDonald’s at 420 E. Capitol Drive had doors and windows that were boarded up, with shattered glass in the parking lot and surrounding area.
Police said the circumstances that led to the shooting are under investigation but it’s believed to have come from an argument. They said they continue to seek unknown suspects.
