After seeing their four-game winning streak snapped in a 108-101 home loss against Atlanta (10-4), the Indiana Fever (9-6) released their day-before injury report ahead of their Saturday rematch against the Dream at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
Per the Fever’s listing, Caitlin Clark is listed as probable with back soreness. It’s the 11th game in a row in which the two-time WNBA All-Star has been listed as probable on the Fever’s day-before injury report.
Fortunately for Indiana, Clark is the lone name listed by the Fever on their report.
Despite the loss on Thursday night, Clark poured in 26 points while shooting 8-of-17 from the floor and 2-of-5 from 3-point land. The third-year pro also added seven assists and two rebounds in her 31 minutes.
If the Fever upgrade Clark to available on Saturday as expected, it will also mark the 11th straight game in which the former Hawkeye was listed as probable and then upgraded to available on the game-day injury report.
So far this season, Clark is averaging 20.8 points, 8.2 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game on 40.7% field goal shooting, 32.7% from 3-point land, and 85.4% from the free-throw line in 14 games played.
The Fever and Dream are scheduled for a noon CT tip on Saturday, and the game will be nationally broadcast on ABC.
