State Representative Mark Johnson (R-Chillicothe) voted in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill.

“These investments will make a real difference in communities across the 92nd House District,” said Rep. Johnson in a news release after his vote. “From supporting our local parks, museums, and fairgrounds to preserving historic landmarks and improving public health facilities, this funding will help strengthen our communities and improve quality of life for residents throughout Hocking, Perry, Ross, and Vinton counties. I was proud to advocate for these projects and secure state support for initiatives that will have a lasting impact on our region.”

State Senator Shane Wilkin (R-Hillsboro) and State Representative Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) also voted for the bill.

“Southern Ohio is full of countless historical gems, cultural hubs, and community service organizations that serve residents all across the state,” said Senator Wilkin in a news release. “The investment into our region will help reinvigorate our businesses, our communities, and better the lives of families all across the 17th Senate District.”

“I was proud to support this legislation because it delivers meaningful funding for projects that matter to Pike County, including improvements to Cave Lake Dam and upgrades to Waverly Community Park. These investments will help enhance public safety, expand recreational opportunities, and support the continued growth of Pike County,” said Peterson in a news release.
