ROSEVILLE – A Roseville man will serve a life sentence for sexually assaulting three minors.
Across two cases, Adam Michael Kennedy, 33, was sentenced to life in prison June 15, when he went before Judge Kelly Cottrill and the Muskingum County Court of Common Pleas. He only has a possibility of parole after serving 28 years.
Kennedy pleaded guilty to five felonies in April, including rape, first-degree; pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, second degree; two counts of gross sexual imposition, both third degree; and importuning, third degree, according to a release from the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office.
The sexual abuse included forced oral sex, touching, and exposure to explicit materials, according to the prosecutor’s office and court documents. The two cases were reported at different times by the respective victims, and both eventually landed with child protective services.
One case included one female victim, and the second involved two. Some of the victims weren’t connected other than through some of Kennedy’s family members, but he reportedly used those connections and opportunities to exploit the children, the prosecutor’s office told the TR.
The assaults occurred between June 2018 through October 2022, according to court documents, when the victims’ ages ranged from around 5 to 11. The pandering charge originated from events in 2025.
Kennedy was previously held in the Muskingum County Jail on a total $750,000 bond. He is required to register as a Tier 3 sex offender.
