We asked our readers which grocery store has the best produce selection in Holland, and there was a resounding answer.
There’s no shortage of local grocery stores, from regional chains like Meijer and Family Fare to bulk shopping options like Sam’s Club (or Costco in Grandville) to local stores like Central Park Market, Mi Favorita and Hamilton Food Center.
The offerings available, however, can vary from store to store, including the quality and selection of produce.
According to our reader poll, the store with the best selection is Meijer. The retailer, which is currently renovating its store on the northside of Holland, received 75.68% of the vote.
Aldi and D&W Fresh Market each earned 5.41% of the vote, followed by Family Fare at 4.05%.
Mi Favorita Grocery and Hamilton Food Center each earned 2.7% of the vote, while Lake Vista Market, Nature’s Market and Dollar General all received 1.35%.
The poll is part of our ongoing series “Grocery Guide,” which provides weekly price comparisons for staple items such as eggs and milk, monthly polls and other stories focused on the ongoing impact of inflation on local families.
