Eric Holm, 38, died from his injuries at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the coroner’s sheet says.

The crash happened at the Tri-State Soccer Complex near State Street on June 3. Troopers and emergency crews were dispatched to the park at 8:30 p.m. for a report of an aircraft that crashed.

According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, a 38-year-old man – now known as Holm – lost control of a paraglider and struck the ground and nearby wires.

A video filmed by a witness shows the crash, Sgt. Wheeles said.

Holm was transported to UC Medical Center that night with life-threatening injuries, but died two days later.

No one else was in the aircraft.

Indiana State Police are still investigating the crash as of June 4.
