Indiana (5-4) hits the road again tonight for the first of its two-game East Coast trip against the New York Liberty (6-4). As tipoff nears, the Fever released its game day injury report.
After being listed as probable in the day-before injury report, Caitlin Clark is officially listed as available on the Fever’s game day injury report. Clark was on the injury report with her back ailment.
Clark also experienced a stomach bug during her 17-point, eight-assist, and seven-rebound performance in Thursday night’s 83-71 win over the Atlanta Dream. But, Clark played the second half after getting sick and doesn’t appear to have any lingering issues.
Clark’s designation is nothing new for the two-time WNBA All-Star, as she has been dealing with back soreness throughout the start of the season. The 6-foot guard has now played in the past five games despite being included in the initial injury reports for each of those matchups.
Tipoff for Indiana’s game against New York is set for 7 p.m. CT, with the game nationally broadcast on CBS.
