Coastal Canyon League picks top performers from 2026 spring season

Isaiah Tillman of league champion Royal High was named the Most Valuable Player and Dusty Dunwoody earned Pitcher of the Year honors for the 2026 Coastal Canyon League baseball season.

Selected to the first team were Matthew Stout, Peyton Visage and Noah Vasquez of Royal; Danny Pina, Kyle Casey, Andrew Nicklaus and Ryan Whitson of Simi Valley; Carson Cerny, Tanner Stotts and AJ Mai of Moorpark; Kelley Gaston and Ryder Morehouse of Camarillo; and Tyler Kutsch of Oak Park.

Named to the second team were Dayne Peters, Ryan Talley, Dean Barkman, Andrew Koby and Ethan Hall of Royal; Trent Nelson, Evan Rodriguez and Nico Valencia of Simi Valley; Blake Guy and Diego Magana of Moorpark; Austin Phenix and Turner Hothan of Camarillo; and Max Mosanko and Aaron Berro of Oak Park.

Earning honorable-mention honors were Travis Wade, Grant Tsuji and Luc Ross of Camarillo; Colten Rainer of Royal; and Devin Medina of Simi Valley.

Dan Maye of Royal was named the Coach of the Year.

Softball

Allison Pugliese of co-league champion Moorpark was named the MVP and Parker Ong of co-league champion Simi Valley earned Pitcher of the Year honors.

Named to the first team were Cali Howe and Laynee Flores of Camarillo; Vivianna Ramirez, Rylie Cregut and Kiley Finnerty of Moorpark; Isabella Jauregui, Sophia Casella and Elle Samuels of Oak Park; Arianna Ochoa, Allison Hinds, Kobi Hernandez and Hayden Chang of Simi Valley; and Lidija Faubert of Royal.

Selected to the second team were JuJu Moffett, Jadyn Claycamp and Janelle Rillo-Figueroa of Camarillo; Christianna Ababseh, Emma Greenlinger and Payton Holliday of Moorpark; Shaila Esparza and Julia Katz of Oak Park; Mikaela Jones and Madyson Highsmith of Royal; and Bella Voorhees, Cambria Santana and Khloe Persson of Simi Valley.

Earning honorable-mention honors were Brooke Toledo, Jo Buckley and Rylee Jenkins of Moorpark; Ainsley Iskenderian and Khloie Hartman of Camarillo; and Riley Scupine, Madeleine Scupine, Sailor Platt, Arika Innis and Amy Weinberger of Oak Park.

Moorpark and Simi Valley were named the co-Staffs of the Year.

Boys volleyball

Stanley Filiaga of league champion Camarillo was named the MVP, Micah West of Camarillo was named the Libero of the Year, and Stephen Zavala of Camarillo was named the Coach of the Year.

Selected to the first team were Breck Bray, Bryce Capella and Grant Wall of Camarillo; Wade Barlow and Merick Adams of Simi Valley; Micah Park and Grant Herzer of Royal; Arnav Saxena of Oak Park; and Calvin Fanger of Moorpark.

Named to the second team were Ayden Winquest and Zenihi Arias of Camarillo; Donald Fleming and Vaughn Rizzo of Royal; Cooper Pawley of Simi Valley; Niko Papanicolou of Oak Park; and Benji Conda and Mateo Hernandez of Moorpark.

Earning honorable-mention selections were Derek Fanger and Lucas Dulay of Moorpark; Rider Pizzla and Austin Opp of Royal; Vincent Kennedy of Simi Valley; and Ben Buchler of Oak Park.

Girls beach volleyball

Jaidan Alexander and Lauren Lacy of Royal earned MVP Pair honors and Dani Helland of league champion Camarillo was named the Coach of the Year.

Selected to the first team were Addison Bays, Tanner Bates and Sophia Addison of Camarillo; Lia Gitler and Hayley Litchauer of Oak Park; and Italia Cavallaro of Moorpark.

Chosen for the second team were Eloise Bray and Maya Milenkovic of Camarillo; Grace Shoneman and Julianna Galstian of Oak Park; Emerson Moss and Isabelle Weneck-lrvin of Royal; Isabella Vlachos of Moorpark; and Jordyn Wilson-Whaley of Simi Valley.

Boys tennis

Georgii Demers of league champion Oak Park earned Singles MVP honors and Oak Park’s Josh Ma and Angus Rein were the Doubles MVPs.

Earning first-team honors were Seth Nguyen, Sidesh Nanodkar, Dennis Saqui and Sith Haupauri of Camarillo; and Ayush Kodur and Nicholas Kuchiersky of Oak Park.

Earning second-team honors were Takashi Fu and Levi Jefferson of Oak Park; Adi Chadda, Trevor Wilson, Shibbi Sarvanan and Mason Holzman of Simi Valley; Rishik Tanwani of Royal; Grant Wang of Moorpark; and Tenyu Lin of Camarillo.

Adam Nielson of Oak Park was named the Coach of the Year.

Boys golf

Rajveer Hundal of Camarillo earned MVP honors by winning the league individual title.

Earning first-team honors were Alexander Cheng of Oak Park; Gavin Hill of Royal; Luis Ballesteros of Simi Valley; Nolan Breuklander of Moorpark; and Morgan Wolff of Camarillo.

Earning second-team honors were Shane Frank of Camarillo and Gunnar Schmidt, Evan Flores, Nathan Corlew and Cooper Van Gundy of Simi Valley.

Stunt

Azaleigh Ibarra of Camarillo earned MVP honors and Camarillo’s Amy Shepard was named the Coach of the Year.

Selected to the first team were Ava McQuone, Ava Villasenor and Samantha Skeeters of Camarillo; Jaidyn Tosynski, Mackenzie Lewellen, Kierra Hernandez and Scarlett Luttrell of Simi Valley; Faythe Wagler, Reagan Hernandez and Daniella Munoz of Moorpark; Alexa Bradley of Royal; and Taylor Tingzon of Oak Park.
