Four charged with robbery of Speedway station in Saugerties

Four people have been charged in connection with a robbery of the Speedway gas station on Route 212 in Saugerties on Feb. 17.

Saugerties police said Daniel Neal IV, 46, of Marlboro; Dorothy M. Mowry, 40, of Mount Marion; and Anna G. Beinhart, 37, of Woodstock were arrested between April 4 and June 5 and charged with second-degree robbery, a felony.

An arrest warrant was issued for Trevor B. Bicknell, 40, of Woodstock, who is currently incarcerated on an unrelated charge, charging him with second-degree robbery in the Speedway robbery.

Neal also was charged with attempted second-degree robbery, a felony; and fourth-degree criminal mischief, petty larceny, evading arrest or concealment of identity, and third-degree coercion, all misdemeanors.

Mowry and Beinhart also were charged with fourth-degree conspiracy, a felony.

No other details of the robbery were provided by Saugerties police. Court information was not immediately available.

Bicknell’s attorney, Saman Soltankhah, could not immediately be reached for comment.

The names of attorneys for Neal, Mowry and Beinhart were not immediately available.

State police and Ulster County’s district attorney’s and sheriff’s offices assisted Saugerties police with the investigation.
