Memorial Tournament leaderboard, Round 3 tee times, PGA Tour updates

Five players head into the third round at the 2026 Memorial Tournament within six strokes of the lead while the rest of the limited field hopes to gain ground on moving day.

J.T. Poston benefitted from an eventful front nine in Round 2, draining back-to-back birdies three separate times en route to a 7-under 65 for the day. The 33-year-old from North Carolina enters today at 9 under, one stroke ahead of his partner in the final pairing, Ryan Gerard. Poston hasn’t finished in the top 20 all year with his most recent victory coming in October 2024 at the Shriners Children’s Open.

Sam Burns opened with matching 69s, sitting three shots back heading into the day while Tommy Fleetwood represents the biggest name atop the leaderboard four back. Eric Cole, who coughed up the 54-hole lead at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, enters in fifth today five shots off the pace. Xander Schauffele and PGA champion Aaron Rai could make a move today, while Rory McIlroy and two-time reigning Memorial winner Scottie Scheffler both come into Round 3 over par.
