After averaging 11.7 points a season ago, Brandin Podziemski entered his third season with the Golden State Warriors looking to take another step forward. Despite Stephen Curry’s knee injury and a slight increase in minutes, Podziemski’s numbers stayed quite similar to his sophomore campaign.
During the year, Podziemski averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals. The former Illinois product posted near identical shooting numbers, converting on 45.5% of field goals and 37.1% of 3-pointers. Durability was a big plus for “Podz,” as he was the only Warrior to appear in all 82 games during the 2025-26 season. One area of concern moving forward could be turnovers, as the left-handed guard increased his total by one third from his first two seasons. Entering his fourth year next fall, Podziemski will be eligible for an extension this summer. If unable to reach an agreement, he’ll become a restricted free agent entering the 2027 offseason.
