Get ready to step into the prehistoric world of dinosaurs this summer with the Artzeum: Stomp, Chomp and Create, located at the Kemp Center for the Arts.
The Arts Council Wichita Falls is hosting the free, interactive, self-guided children’s exhibit — which is available for all ages and officially opens Saturday, June 6, and will run through Aug. 8, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A free Artzeum Family Day will be held Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with dinosaur art activities for the kids, provided by local organizations including Smith’s Gardentown.
Along with Artzeum Family Day, guests can participate in Studio Saturday, where kids can create their very own prehistoric bubble art dino, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will also be an artist meet-and-greet with K.I, the latest West End Gallery featured artist, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Kemp Center for the Arts will also be hosting numerous summer class options for all ages; event listings can be found on their Facebook page, at Arts Council WF.
