Bills have second-best odds to win Super Bowl despite major changes

The Buffalo Bills didn’t make it to the Super Bowl last season. They didn’t win the AFC East.

Oddsmakers apparently aren’t worried.

Despite having their five-year run as division champions snapped and entering a new era under first-year head coach Joe Brady, the Bills have the best odds of any AFC team to win Super Bowl 61.

Buffalo is listed at +1000 to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Only the Los Angeles Rams (+500), who traded for defensive end Myles Garrett on Monday, have better odds.

That puts the Bills ahead of both teams that played in last year’s Super Bowl. The defending champion Seattle Seahawks are listed at +1100, while the AFC East champion England Patriots are +1600.

The +1000 odds mean a $100 bet on Buffalo would produce $1,000 profit if the Bills win the franchise’s first Super Bowl.

Buffalo entered last season tied for the best Super Bowl odds in the NFL after winning five straight division titles. But the Bills finished second in the division behind New England and was eliminated in the AFC divisional round by the Denver Broncos.

The offseason brought significant changes.

Buffalo promoted Joe Brady to head coach after firing Sean McDermott, traded for wide receiver D.J. Moore and signed outside linebacker Bradley Chubb.

Oddsmakers are still backing a team led by Josh Allen, who is coming off another MVP-caliber season.

The Bills have made the playoffs in seven straight seasons but are still chasing their first Super Bowl title. Their last appearance came during a stretch of four straight losses from 1990-1993.

Super Bowl LXI will be played Feb. 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
