Here is a look at the individuals in the running to be voted the Lansing State Journal’s boys high school athlete of the week winner.
Voting is open until noon Wednesday, June 3, to determine a winner, who will be featured in the LSJ.

Maddox Mosley, Lansing Christian golf
The junior helped the Pilgrims capture a Division 4 regional title in Marshall. He had a round of 73 to lead Lansing Christian, which won the regional by 27 strokes with a team score of 309.
Myles Smith, DeWitt golf
The senior contributed to the Panthers finishing as a Division 2 regional champion. He tied for second with a round 74 for DeWitt, which had a team total of 314 and finished three strokes ahead of runner-up Bay City Western
Leland VanAlstine, Lansing Catholic track
The senior ended his career as a double individual champion and won the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles at the Division 3 state finals. VanAlstine won the 110 hurdles in 14.19 seconds and the 300 hurdles in a season-best time of 39.0 seconds.
