On a per-game basis, Puka Nacua nearly led the league in the three triple crown receiving categories. He was tops in the NFL with 129 receptions (and 8.06 catches per game) and 107.2 yards per game, and he finished sixth in touchdown catches with 10.
Considering he plays on a team with another top receiver in Davante Adams, those are some eye-popping numbers.
Pro Football Focus expects yet another massive season from Nacua in 2026, projecting a second consecutive near-triple crown campaign. PFF released its fantasy projections for the upcoming season and Nacua will lead the NFL in receptions and receiving yards, according to the outlet’s predicted stats.
Here are PFF’s projections for Nacua, and where they’d rank among all players.
Those numbers wouldn’t quite match Nacua’s production in 2025 (129 catches, 1,715 yards, 10 TDs), but they’d be close to his career 17-game average of 121 catches, 1,619 yards and seven touchdowns.
And if Matthew Stafford continues to play at an MVP level, there’s no reason Nacua can’t have another 1,400-yard season with 120-plus catches. He was in consideration for Offensive Player of the Year last season and should very well be in contention again this year.
The only things that could truly limit his production are the Rams’ scheme and his body. If the Rams lean heavily into 13 personnel again this season, it could reduce Nacua’s snaps and targets because only one receiver is on the field at a time in 13 personnel. We saw that effect last season already; he averaged 64% of the snaps from Week 9 on after averaging 80% in the first five games before getting hurt in Week 6 against the Ravens.
And speaking of injuries, those have limited Nacua in the past. He missed time in each of the last two seasons and plays with a reckless abandon that makes him as special as he is. But at some point, he might need to dial back the physicality to preserve himself and his body for the duration of a 17-game season.
Regardless of what personnel the Rams run and whether Nacua stays healthy or not, he’s bound to be one of the top receivers again in 2026.
