The season 3 finale of “Euphoria” is almost here.
This season has been a long time coming, with fans waiting for a glimpse into Rue, Maddy, Cassie, Jules and Nate’s lives since 2022. However, this season has faced controversy, with fans being vocal about their disappointment in how the characters have been portrayed.
Season 3 of “Euphoria” is set five years after the events of season 2, with the characters of Sam Levinson’s HBO teen drama wrestling with the “virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil,” according to the series synopsis.
The show’s most recent episode, released May 24, shocked fans by killing off Jacob Elordi’s character Nate Jacobs in one of TV’s most gruesome deaths to date. Jacobs’ death left Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) in the hands of Alamo. Meanwhile, Rue (Zendaya) is left to escape Laurie’s home.

How long is the ‘Euphoria’ season 3 finale?
The season 3 finale, titled “In God We Trust,” will be 93 minutes long (one of HBO’s longest ever episodes), according to Esquire.
The network’s longest episode (so far) is the pilot for “Vinyl,” which is 112 minutes. Other massive episode runtimes include the 93-minute finale of “The Wire,” the 90-minute “White Lotus” season 3 finale, and the “Game of Thrones” season 8 finale, which lasted 82 minutes.

Will ‘Euphoria’ return for season 4?
HBO Max has not made any announcements regarding season 4 yet.
Series creator Sam Levinson, however, hinted season 3 would be the series’s last, telling Variety in an article published on April 7 that he writes “every season like it’s the last season” and has “no plans” for a season 4, adding he is currently completely focused on delivering his best work with season 3.
“I want to finish this as strong as I can. I’m cutting (Episodes) 7 and 8 still,” Levinson told Variety. “I’m putting some finishing touches. I just want to deliver a (expletive) slam dunk season.”
In April, Zendaya, on “The Drew Barrymore Show”, also indicated the series would be ending with season 3.
“I think so, yeah,” Zendaya told Barrymore when asked if it was the final season. “That closure is coming.”
