Attorney Olivia Faddis appointed judge of Randolph Superior Court

WINCHESTER, IN — Indiana Governor Mike Braun has appointed Winchester attorney Olivia Faddis as the new judge of Randolph Superior Court.

In a news release, Braun said Faddis’ “commitment to justice and public service” will benefit both Randolph County and the state.

Faddis grew up in Lynn and is a graduate of Randolph Southern Junior-Senior High School.

She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in 2013 and a law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2020. She was admitted to practice law in Indiana in September 2020.

According to the release, Faddis for the past six years has practiced at Suzan Dillon Myers Attorney at Law in Winchester, “representing clients in family law, adoption, guardianship, small claims, criminal, juvenile delinquency, and Child in Need of Services cases.”

“I am deeply honored by this opportunity to serve Randolph County,” Faddis said in the release. “I am grateful to Governor Braun for the appointment. In my career, I have strived to approach the law with diligence, impartiality and a steadfast commitment to justice. I look forward to bringing those same values to the bench.”

Before beginning her legal career, Faddis was a reporter for the Winchester News-Gazette.

On May 5, she won the Republican nomination for Randolph Superior Court judge in this year’s election.

Peter Arnett resigned as Randolph Superior Court judge in November.

The Indiana Supreme Court had found that Arnett “committed judicial misconduct through a long pattern of mismanagement, delay, and dereliction of his judicial duties.”

Kimberly Dowling, former Delaware Circuit Court 2 judge and now a senior judge, has served as Randolph Superior Court’s acting judge since April 2025.
