The mill recently has been restored. An interesting fact — after the 2023 tornado that destroyed many trees at Indian State Park McCormick’s Creek, more than 200 salvaged trees were used to cover the mill’s flume. The flume is 550 feet long, and the old cast iron pipe was replaced with pvc pipe.
