FOND DU LAC – City residents may notice a delay in curbside garbage collection.
The Municipal Service Center announced May 26 that the Memorial Day holiday and mechanical issues have created a short delay in collection for some residents who were supposed to have their garbage collected Tuesday. Any garbage not picked up on Tuesday will be collected Wednesday.
Garbage will be collected as usual for residents with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collection days. All residents are asked to have their garbage containers at the curb on their regularly scheduled days.
For recycling collection, Waste Management will collect on the previously scheduled one-day delay for all customers.
