These NY Knicks players have ties to Westchester restaurants

The New York Knicks have been dominating the news — they just made the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years! In Westchester, the buzz extends from the court to the restaurant scene.

First, Jordan Clarkson, who signed with the Knicks last year (after stints for the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Utah Jazz), had lunch May 22 at KEE Oyster House in White Plains.

In the past year, the seafood restaurant has also hosted Pedro Martínez, a retired Major League Baseball pitcher and former New York Yankee Mariano Rivera.

Meanwhile, Knicks forward Josh Hart created a special double wagyu beef burger available for a limited time at Café Deux in Harrison. The Hart burger also features fried egg, hash browns, bacon, cheddar cheese, ketchup and garlic aioli.

His wife, Shannon, has her own burger, too, with double wagyu beef patties, gruyere cheese, black truffle aioli and freshly shaved black truffle.

Proceeds for both benefit the Second Round Foundation, which plants seeds to create equity for young people through education, sport, and community.

The burgers are only available for as long as the Knicks are in it.
