The FSU Seminoles are going to have to reshuffle the top of their offensive line recruiting board. FSU missed out on arguably their top target this week, with four-star interior offensive lineman Jatori Williams committing to the Miami Hurricanes over the Seminoles.
While he had been trending that way for some time, it is a big blow to FSU’s 2027 recruiting class, which currently has no offensive lineman committed. Offensive line coach Herb Hand has the Seminoles in the mix for several other targets, but Williams was one of just a few four-star prospects that they were seriously involved with.
He is ranked as the No. 104 overall player and No. 7 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The Phenix City native is also the No. 3 player from Alabama.
FSU has been involved in Williams’ recruitment from the start, offering him a scholarship in January of 2025. He visited Tallahassee four times that year and returned three times this year. He was set to officially visit in June, but that could be cancelled now that he is committed to Miami, which did not extend him a scholarship offer until Jan. 28, 2026.
The Seminoles did receive some good news along the offensive line this week. Three-star target DaJohn Yarborough named them one of his top four schools.
