The city of Stockton recently announced that four of its public pools will open across Stockton this Memorial Day weekend for the summer.
The City of Stockton Community Services Department 2026 Summer Activity Guide states opening day for the pools is from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, at Brooking Park Pool, Holiday Park Pool, McKinley Park Pool and Victory Park Pool. Opening day will be free for all ages on Saturday. A $3 fee will begin on Sunday, May 24 through Sept. 7. It’s free for children 12 months and under.
“Join us for the opening day at the pools! Get ready to hang loose and soak up the fun as we surf into another summer of fun!” the 2026 Summer Activity Guide states. “Celebrate the start of summer with a day filled with exciting activities, crafts, and photo-op fun.”
The community pools will remain open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 7 and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays from June 2 through July 26.
The pools will open on Memorial Day.
Lap swim will be available for those ages 15 and older, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, starting on June 9 through July 24 and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, July 28 through Aug. 28, according to the City of Stockton’s aquatics website.
These will be offered at the four city pools with an entry fee of $3, or free for those with a monthly fitness pass.

The Weston Ranch High School Pool will also open this summer from June 2 through July 24 through a partnership with the Manteca Unified School District. The pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
“Residents can enjoy additional swim access in South Stockton,” the City of Stockton aquatics website states.
