Palm Springs restaurant shut down temporarily for cockroaches

Several Coachella Valley restaurants failed Riverside County health inspections this week, including one that was temporarily shut down due to a cockroach infestation, according to reports.

Loco Charlie’s Mexican Grill in Palm Springs was closed by inspectors after they found several live cockroaches in the facility. The following day when inspectors returned, roaches were still observed during their first visit, but on their second they were eliminated. The facility was approved to reopen, but it will still be reinspected.
