As many as 90 parishes across southeast Michigan might not hold weekend Masses in the future, based on models released by the Archdiocese of Detroit as part of its restructuring plan.
The models have different potential groupings of parishes, in which a grouping would share a pastor and potentially other priests. In some cases, some churches in the grouping would no longer hold Sunday Mass.
See if your parish would be affected by the proposed changes in the interactive map below. The Archdiocese of Detroit said the proposed models could change as they get feedback and as the maps are reviewed.
