The Milwaukee Brewers are off May 21, fresh off a sweep of the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. They’ll be home for Memorial Day weekend and the holiday itself, facing off with the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers followed by divisional foe St. Louis.
Here’s what to know about what’s next:
Do the Brewers play today?
Nope, they have their fourth off-day of the month (counting a rain postponement against St. Louis).
When do the Brewers play next?
Milwaukee opens a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 22 at American Family Field. Last year, the Brewers staged an impressive six-game series sweep of Los Angeles … although the Dodgers got the loudest laugh with a sweep in the National League Championship Series.
A look at the pitching probables:
Wrobleski might be the name Brewers fans know the least, but he’s been having an excellent year thus far with a 1.03 WHIP to go with a strong ERA, but he doesn’t strike out a ton of batters (27 in 51 innings). Still, he’s been a huge addition to the rotation after serving as a reliever the past couple years. Sasaki has likewise been moved from the bullpen but has been hittable. Yamamoto isn’t dominant every time out this year, but he did just allow three hits over seven innings against San Diego in his last start.
When do the Brewers play on Memorial Day, and who’s pitching?
The Brewers face the Cardinals at 1:10 p.m. May 25 at American Family Field. And yes, that lines up to be the next start for Jacob Misiorowski, who has yet to allow an earned run in May (24 straight scoreless innings) and leads the league in strikeouts.
The Cardinals will likely send right-hander Michael McGreevy (3-3, 2.40 ERA to the mound). He’s been their best starter this season.
The Brewers finish the homestand with a 6:40 p.m. game Tuesday, May 26 and a 12:40 p.m. game Wednesday, May 27.
What is the Brewers record?
Milwaukee is 29-18, which puts them 1½ games ahead of the second-place Cardinals and Cubs. It ties for the best start in franchise history through 47 games.
What are the National League Central standings?
We’ll head into the weekend still with every team in the National League Central at .500 or better. These records are through Wednesday’s games, May 20.
Do the Brewers have the best run differential in the National League?
Well, no. The Braves and Dodgers are plus-98, well ahead of the Brewers (plus-75), who are third, but those are the top three teams in all of baseball.
Where can I get tickets to the Brewers games?
Same place as always, the Brewers ticket hub, but bear in mind that prices will be a little elevated for the Saturday, Sunday and Monday games upcoming.

A look at the current Brewers winning streak
Milwaukee has won three straight games after bringing the brooms the Wrigley, the fifth time Milwaukee has swept a series of three or more games in Chicago.

What are the Brewers playoff odds?
Baseball Reference gives the Brewers a surprisingly gaudy 99% chance of reaching the postseason and an 83.8% chance to win the division. Fangraphs isn’t that bullish, giving the Brewers a 46.1% chance of winning the division and 76.2% chance of making the postseason.
