The driver who died after his car struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 270 has been identified.
Yosri Torki, 28, died in the crash, according to a crash report.
Torki was southbound on I-270 near Tuttle Crossing near Dublin at 1:48 a.m. May 20 when he struck the back of a tractor-trailer that had slowed for stopped traffic ahead, according to the crash report.
Torki was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead at 4:12 a.m. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured, and neither vehicle had any other passengers.
No charges were filed in the crash. The crash report states Torki failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead of him.
