LeBron James will be at Fanatics Fest NYC again this year

By the middle of July, the basketball world should know which team LeBron James will play for during the 2026-27 NBA season, assuming he doesn’t retire this offseason. He’s about to become a free agent, and while there are indications he would like to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers, there seems to be a very real chance that he will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers — or perhaps suit up for a different team.

While fans await the start of next season, James will be recording a live version of his “Mind the Game” podcast at Fanatics Fest NYC on July 16. For this episode, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton will be his special guest host. James will also be at the event on July 17 as well.

James was at Fanatics Fest NYC last year and recorded live versions of both “Mind the Game” and “The Shop.” San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama joined him on stage for that episode of “The Shop.”

For those in the New York City area who are interested in attending Fanatics Fest NYC this year to see James, it will be held at the Javits Center on Eleventh Avenue in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan.
