Who won, what passed in Mohawk Valley school elections | Updates

Editor’s note: This story has been updated to include more results.

Rome residents were the only ones to vote down their school district’s proposed budget for the 2026-2027 school year, among 31 area districts to report their unofficial school election results from May 19.

All of the other propositions on the ballots in those 31 districts in Oneida, Herkimer and eastern Madison counties passed.

Write-in candidate Pete Casatelli won a seat on the Waterville Central School District Board of Education because only two candidates appeared on the ballot for three vacant seats.

These unofficial results from local school elections will be updated as more results become available. Winning candidates’ names appear in bold face.
