Tom Cotter
Tom Cotter will perform live at the Sentry Theater at 7 p.m. May 22 at 1800 N. Point Drive in Stevens Point. The comedian has been on “The Tonight Show” and “Last Comic Standing” and has a full-length special on Comedy Central. Tickets are $50 for VIP seating, $30 for standard seating and $20 for value seating. Packages are also available that include a stay at The Inn at SentryWorld, dining credits and more. World Turtle Day
The Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum will host World Turtle Day with Squirt the turtle from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 23 at 1100 Main St. in Stevens Point. Guests can purchase one-of-a-kind artwork by Squirt to benefit the museum’s Wild Wisconsin exhibit, enjoy “eat-like-a-turtle” themed snacks, create a fun turtle craft and more. The first 50 children to arrive will receive handmade turtle plushies donated by Holly’s Hooks. Regular museum admission rates and membership benefits will apply. Build it!
CREATE Portage County will host “Build it!” a Lego building challenge from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. May 23 at 1300 Maria Drive, Suite B in Stevens Point. Participants will compete in Lego challenges to earn tickets they can redeem at an arcade-style prize station. The event will also include light snacks and drinks.
