The Cleveland Browns have a very favorable road schedule in 2026. They are travelling the second least amount of miles in the entire NFL and will be playing almost all of their games in the east coast time zone.
As everyone’s schedules are starting to be released, we are learning more about when and, more importantly, where some of Cleveland’s games will be taking place.
Now, there are two types of trips that can be had when it comes to football weekends. One option is an escape from the Cleveland early winter to follow the Browns to somewhere down south or out west to find some nice weather for a weekend. The other option is for the true football junkies who are more into seeing the Browns in nasty weather in historic football environments.
For this exercise, we are going with the former. I have done both styles of trip, and choosing which is better is like choosing which of your children is your favorite. They are both perfect for their own reasons.
Now, if you want to pack your golf clubs, some shorts, and get ready to explore a new town, here are the top three away destinations for the Browns in 2026.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
It appears that the Browns will be heading to Jacksonville in the second week of September, which could be a perfect time to head down to Northern Florida. Now, I am a major fan of Northeast Ohio fall, but escaping to the Florida sun in September. Head down to watch Cleveland get to 1-0 against a team that has playoff aspirations.,
2. New Orleans Saints
This one was a fascinating one because it was very nearly the Paris game this year. Instead, the NFL went with the Steelers instead of the Browns, and man, did Cleveland and its fans luck out. New Orleans is on the Mount Rushmore of cities when it comes to food. No matter what time of the year it is, the weather should be solid, the food will be great, maybe a round of golf could be had, and rumor has it, there is some fun to be had on Bourbon Street.
1. Tampa Bay Bucaneers
Cleveland’s visit to Tampa has so much to it. First of all, it is one of the legitimately perfect weather cities in all of the country. If it is any month of the season, we are likely to get perfect weather. The golf clubs would absolutely make the trip here, and the swimsuits as well, as there is certainly a beach day to be had.
Oh, and it’s Cleveland’s first time facing old friend Baker Mayfield as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
Cleveland’s away schedule is actually pretty solid from top to bottom. Nashville was left off of this list, along with New York (twice) and all of the AFC North matchups.
There is no such thing as a bad NFL stadium to watch a football game; it just so happens that these three locations are the best options for Browns fans in 2026.
