A Walnut Hills man has been arrested and charged after three women, including a well-known comedian, told police a man struck them on the buttocks in Cincinnati last week.
A video posted online by Kelly Collette, a stand-up comedian from Cincinnati, shows her chasing a man on a bike after she was struck.
Roger Styles, 24, is facing three misdemeanor counts of sexual imposition. Three complaints were filed with the Hamilton County Municipal Court regarding a man on a bike slapping women on their buttocks without consent on May 14 and 15, according to court records.
Collette said she was trying to her enjoy her day while taking a walk on Madison Road in O’Bryonville when she was slapped. She chased the man riding an electric bike for what felt like 100 yards, she said.
Enraged and full of adrenaline, Collette said she didn’t have time to feel bad.
In the moment, Collette thought: “I’m not the one. He picked the wrong person to mess with. Cause if I’m going to get him, I’m going to do something to him and if not, I’m petty enough to know that I’m not going to let this go.”
Collette called police, and when they arrived, she said they took her seriously. Police told Collette that there have been similar incidents recently.
The security camera footage came from Luminous Piercing. Collette said a worker from the shop approached her and offered her the video.
Styles is not in the Hamilton County Justice Center inmate list. A 10% bond of $1,000 was paid for Styles, according to court records. An attorney for Styles is not yet listed on the Hamilton County Court Clerk website.
Styles was previously convicted on two assault charges in March 2025. That same month, he was convicted on two counts of menacing by stalking. All are felony charges.
Styles approached a woman and her 2-year-old son about five times in November 2023. On one occasion, he kicked the toddler in the face and on another occasion, he threw a full water bottle at the toddler, according to court records. In each instance, Styles either yelled expletives at the woman and her child or threatened her, court records state.
