Cowboys Content Corner: Year 2 offense? Ezeiruaku gains, new schedule

The Dallas Cowboys’ 2026 schedule was unveiled in this past week, giving everyone a chance to refresh themselves with the abstract battles that lie ahead and put a concrete form on the coming carnage. The Cowboys’ set of opponents has been known, but now that they have an arranged order, one can truly put in some preliminary work of seeing where the team might find hope and where they might struggle.

They’ll need all hands on deck and there’s some good news as to the progress of edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku. Last year’s second-round pick had offseason hip surgery and as he’s missing the on-field portion of the new defensive scheme’s early installation, he’s showing progress in getting back to the action. The defense has been the talk of the town since early January, but the team’s offense can’t settle for the heights it reached last season.
