Wisconsin Badgers fans have long speculated which regional they’d end up in, but Sunday’s selection show put all that to rest.
Yvette Healy’s squad knows they’ll be playing Baylor in the first game of the Austin Regional, but Texas awaits in what could potentially be a trio of games for the ages.
Remember, the 2026 Women’s College World Series starts as a 64-team field. Wisconsin doesn’t have the best track record in the NCAA Tournament, but that could all change on the heels of one of its most successful seasons in program history.
In order to make it out of Austin, Wisconsin must win a double-elimination regional that includes Baylor, Wagner, and No. 2 Texas.
