Summerfest 2026 loses another act after British rockers cancel tour

On the day they released their latest album May 15, British rockers Enter Shikari announced they were scrapping their North American tour, which included a show at Summerfest in Milwaukee.

Through a press release, the band stated that the shows in the United States and Canada have to be canceled “due to ongoing visa issues that look extremely unlikely to be sorted before some massive financial decisions need to be made.” The band, slated for the 8:30 p.m. slot at the Miller Lite Oasis on June 19, is still listed on the Summerfest app as of May 15, with a replacement expected to be announced.

This is the sixth noted act that has dropped out of the Milwaukee music festival for 2026.

In April two planned headliners – Megadeth at the Miller Lite Oasis and Jeremih at the T-Mobile Stage – canceled their appearances at the Milwaukee music festival. Summerfest officials cited a scheduling conflict for Megadeth – the band has shows in Europe around the festival window – while Jeremih canceled due to undisclosed medical reasons. That was also the reason the R&B artist dropped out of a tour that included opening for B2K and Bow Wow at Fiserv Forum in April.

At Summerfest, Megadeth has been replaced by Slayer’s Kerry King on July 4, while Tyrese has filled Jeremih’s headlining slot June 19.

Pussycat Dolls were also slated to headline a bonus Summerfest show at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater June 21 with guests Lil’ Kim and Mya. The North American tour, except for one festival date, was called off earlier this month, with the Dolls through social media implying it was due to low ticket sales.

Summerfest will take place June 18 to 20, June 25 to 27 and July 2 to 4, with Garth Brooks performing two bonus concerts at the amphitheater June 16 and 17.
