Members of Green Bay fentanyl trafficking operation sentenced

Eight people, including six from Green Bay, have been convicted and sentenced in federal court for involvement in a fentanyl trafficking organization operating in the city, according to an U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.

An investigation into the organization resulted in the seizure of more than 175,000 fentanyl pills, the release said. Members of the organization frequently traveled to Phoenix, purchased large quantities of fentanyl pills, shipped the pills to various cities in the Midwest and distributed them in and around Green Bay.

Between July 2025 and May 2026, eight people were sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge William Griesbach for their roles in the organization:

Seven of the eight defendants pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. Chambers was found guilty of the charge following a jury trial.

According to the release, the organization was responsible for distributing hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills in Green Bay and Milwaukee. Members spent thousands on luxury travel, expensive jewelry, luxury vehicles, designer clothing and rap video productions, regularly displaying large amounts of cash and luxury items on social media while promoting their music and public image, the release said.

An expert in drug trafficking who testified at Chambers’ trial said high-level fentanyl traffickers can purchase fentanyl pills in Phoenix for as little as 50 cents per pill and resell those same pills in Green Bay for up to $20 per pill, according to the release. The expert also testified that seven out of 10 fentanyl pills tested at DEA crime laboratories contain a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl.

The case was investigated by the Brown County Drug Task Force, the Dakota County Drug Task Force in Minnesota, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Green Bay Resident Office and Phoenix Division, and the FBI.

“The Brown County Drug Task Force remains committed to protecting the public and holding drug traffickers accountable,” Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain said in the release. “Those who choose to come to Brown County to profit from the distribution of illegal narcotics should understand that it is only a matter of time before they are arrested, prosecuted, and held accountable for their actions. Today, these drug dealers are no longer living a life of luxury – they are serving lengthy sentences behind bars!”
