Luxemburg-Casco baseball player Noah Chervenka was last week’s winner, receiving 8,803 votes. Marinette’s Bailey Krouth was runner-up with 7,241 votes.
Chervenka is the first L-C athlete to win player of the week in 2025-26 and the third overall in the history of the poll, joining former volleyball star Ella Vander Velden and state champion wrestler Carson Neubert.
Here are this week’s nominees. Be sure to vote in the poll below.
Artie Adams, Bay Port baseball
The junior catcher helped the Pirates go undefeated last week to remain atop the Fox River Classic Conference.
His most notable performance came in the second game of a doubleheader sweep at Manitowoc.
Adams went 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in the 11-8 win.
He is hitting .356 with six home runs and 22 RBI entering the week.
Elizabeth Boughton, Green Bay Southwest softball
It’s been a difficult season for the Trojans, but their freshman has been a bright spot.
Boughton helped lead the Trojans to their second win of 2026, going 3-for-3 with three doubles, two RBI and a run scored in an 11-8 victory over Sheboygan North.
She also went a combined 3-for-5 with one RBI, one run scored and a hit by pitch in losses to the Golden Raiders and Pulaski.
Boughton entered the week second on the team to Hannah Dunlap with a .350 batting average. She has a .409 on-base percentage and a .909 OPS.
Maximus Davis, Green Bay Preble track and field
The Hornets’ top wrestler also shines in track and field.
The junior won the pole vault at the Arrowhead Myrhum Invite with a height of 14 feet, 9 inches after winning the event with a 14-0 at the Fox River Classic Conference Relays earlier in the week.
Davis is seeking a return trip to the WIAA Division 1 state meet after qualifying in the event as a sophomore.
Isaiah Hester, Green Bay West track and field
There were several local athletes who had success at the Bay Port DeMerit Invitational, including the Wildcats junior.
The three-sport athlete – Hester plays football in the fall and basketball in winter – won the 200-meter dash in 22.30 seconds.
Shaelyn Kraschnewski, Denmark softball
The junior was a key part in the Vikings’ 6-0 week.
Kraschnewski went a combined 13-for-21 at the plate, with seven RBI, 10 runs scored, four doubles and three walks.
She went 3-0 as a pitcher, with her top performance coming in a 6-0 win over Waunakee.
Kraschnewski went all seven innings, allowing two hits, two walks and striking out four.
She is hitting .522 with 11 doubles, 18 RBI and 22 runs scored this season and is 7-1 with a 2.76 earned-run average.
Molly Molthen, Pulaski softball
The leadoff hitter was instrumental in the Red Raiders’ 4-0 week, which came right after a five-game losing streak.
The senior went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI against Manitowoc and followed by going 1-for-3 with two runs in the first game of a doubleheader against De Pere and 4-for-4 with four runs and a double in the second game. She ended the week going 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI and three stolen bases against Southwest.
Molthen is hitting .554 with 10 doubles, two triples, 36 runs, 20 RBI and 12 stolen bases. She has a .618 on-base percentage and a 1.387 OPS.
The four-year starter and team captain is a good bet to be a first-team all-conference selection in the FRCC for the fourth straight year.
Aaliyah Wallace, Luxemburg-Casco soccer
The sophomore scored four goals in 7 minutes during the first half of a 6-0 win over Fox Valley Lutheran, helping the Spartans halt a three-game losing streak. It was her second hat trick in five games.
Wallace is second on the team with 13 goals and 30 points.
