One person was killed early Sunday morning, May 10, after a vehicle crashed into a pole on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County.
The single vehicle collision occurred at approximately 6:12 a.m. at mile marker 202 on southbound Interstate 75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The right southbound outside lane is closed at the mile marker, as of 8 a.m.. FHP is investigating.
