The New York Jets made some noise around the NFL world regarding running back Breece Hall.
Hall, 24, had the franchise tag slapped on him in early March by the team. Weeks rolled on, the 2026 NFL Draft came and went, and no long-term extension came down.
Until now.
Because many in the football world did not expect it to happen, heads were turned in New York and across contract when the news was announced. Hall had inked a three-year contract extension to remain with the Jets.
With Hall back in the fold alongside wide receiver Garrett Wilson, plus offseason additions from veteran quarterback Geno Smith to first-round rookie playmakers Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr… are the Jets actually cooking something promising on offense?
Plenty around the NFL now sure are optimistic.
