Who's hiring in Peoria? These major employers have high-paying jobs

PEORIA — There are countless high-paying jobs available in the area from some of the region’s most prominent employers.

The Journal Star will spotlight specific job openings across the area, highlighting positions that stand out for their pay, impact and interest.

Caterpillar: Communications manager

Caterpillar has a multitude of high-paying job openings in the Peoria for a range of positions ranging from engineering, finance and communications. In this specific role, Caterpillar is looking to hire someone to lead a communications team within the Caterpillar Strategic Procurement and Planning Division.

Carle Health: Registered nurses

Carle Methodist in Peoria is hiring for multiple nursing roles including openings for their medical/cardiac unit where the base pay begins at $33 per hour. Nurses in this role would work three, 12-hour shifts a week.

OSF Healthcare: Registered nurses

Pay range: $34-$61 per hour

OSF Healthcare is hiring nurses, with some of the roles paying upwards of $60 an hour. An open role to be a nurse in the intensive care unit has a listed starting pay of $50.08 per hour and can get as high as $61.66/hour.

Ameren: Fleet analyst

Ameren is looking for a fleet analyst in Peoria to monitor the needs and activities of its fleet of vehicles. The minimum requirement for the role is an associate’s degree with three or more years of relevant experience.

Advanced Technology Services: Tank farm manager

Advanced Technology services has a handful of high-paying jobs open in Mossville, including a field service reliability engineer and a tank farm manager.

The tank farm manager role need to be able to perform “expert-level” fixes and preventative maintenance on complex systems as the employee’s job specialty requires.

Farnsworth Group: Project architect

Farnsworth Group also has more than a dozen, high-paying job openings in the Peoria area, including a position as a project architect.

The job role is expected to create, manage and produce projects that include large commercial office and retail developments, K-12 and higher education projects, health care projects, recreation and community centers.
