Most of the Indianapolis Colts’ 2026 NFL draft class is now signed and under contract.
The Colts announced prior to the start of the rookie minicamp that they have signed six members of their draft class, leaving two who are still unsigned.
Colts sign six members of 2026 NFL draft class
The two players who remain unsigned are offensive lineman Jalen Farmer and linebacker Bryce Boettcher — both fourth-round picks.
With both Farmer and Boettcher being taken in the same round, perhaps the delay in getting a deal done is around the guarantees. While there isn’t a lot of wiggle room for negotiating within a rookie contract, the guaranteed portion is where that can take place.
No worries, however, deals will get done, and there isn’t really any sort of deadline for that to happen. With Farmer being taken at 113th overall and Boettcher at 135th, the players taken in front of them in the NFL draft may have to sign first, with those deals laying the groundwork for Farmer and Boettcher’s deals, specifically, how much of the contracts are guaranteed.
