Hampton Inn by Hilton opened a new four-story hotel Thursday on East Peoria’s riverfront.
The property is developed and managed by Frontier Hospitality Group (FHG) and features 100 guest rooms. The $21 million investment is FHG’s eighth hotel development in the past 12 years and its third in East Peoria.
“The Hampton Inn project is a superior brand in a superior location,” said FHG chief executive officer Dan Huber. “We are excited to have this beautiful new hotel situated at a gateway and riverfront location in East Peoria, and to represent Hilton’s Hampton brand with a modern fresh hotel. We look forward to serving the Peoria market for years to come and being a home away from home for our guests.”
Located at 220 Conference Center Drive, the new hotel offers views of the Illinois River, Downtown Peoria and the Peoria riverfront from multiple guest rooms as well as from a large river-facing outside patio. The hotel presents a variety of amenities, including a great room, indoor pool, a fully equipped fitness center with Peloton bikes, complimentary breakfast and guest laundry.

Russell Construction served as the general contractor for the project. FHG will commemorate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration June 4.
